What Two Factor Setup Does for Your Account

When you turn on two factor authentication, every new login requires a one-time code on top of your password. You can choose between an authenticator app — Google Authenticator or Authy work directly — or an SMS code sent to your registered number. The code refreshes every 30 seconds, so a stolen password alone gets nobody in. Once active, your linked DANA,

OVO, or GoPay wallet connections sit behind this extra layer. Head to Account Settings, open the Security tab, and follow the QR scan step to pair your app. The whole process runs on your phone without needing desktop access.

SECURITY HELP DESK

Help When Two Factor Setup Causes Issues

Locked out after setting up two factor? Our support team handles recovery requests and can verify your identity through your registered wallet details — DANA, OVO, or GoPay — so you are never permanently blocked from your own account.

Live Chat Support Reach our team through the live chat button in your account dashboard. For two factor issues, have your registered wallet number ready so the agent can verify you quickly.
Account Recovery Path If your authenticator app is lost or your phone changes, submit a recovery request via email with your account ID and wallet reference. We verify and reset your two factor link.
Backup Code Activation Each account gets a set of one-time backup codes when two factor is first enabled. Store these offline — they are your fastest route back in when your primary device is unavailable.
SECURITY STANDARDS

How We Keep Two Factor Setup Reliable

Two factor setup on totoakura follows time-based one-time password standards, meaning the codes generated are short-lived and cannot be reused. We do not store your authenticator seed in a way that ties it to your payment wallet — your DANA, OVO, or GoPay link is protected separately from the 2FA layer itself.

TOTP Standard We use the time-based one-time password protocol, the same method major financial apps rely on. Codes expire in 30 seconds and are never reused across sessions.
No Seed Storage Exposure Your authenticator QR seed is generated once during setup and never stored in a retrievable plain-text form. Even our own support team cannot read your seed after setup completes.
Wallet Separation Your two factor layer is independent from your DANA, OVO, or GoPay wallet link. A compromised authenticator alone does not expose your payment details or account balance.
Session Alerts Each time a new login passes two factor verification, your registered number or email receives a session alert. Unrecognised logins can be flagged directly from that notification.

Two Factor Setup Terms You Should Know

These are the terms you will see during setup and in account security settings. Short definitions, no jargon.

01
What is TOTP?

TOTP stands for Time-Based One-Time Password. It is a six-digit code generated every 30 seconds by an authenticator app, valid only for that short window before it refreshes.

02
What is a QR seed in 2FA?

The QR seed is the secret key encoded in the setup QR code. Your authenticator app reads it once during pairing and uses it to calculate your login codes going forward.

03
What are backup codes?

Backup codes are single-use emergency codes generated when you first activate two factor. Each code works once and lets you log in if your authenticator device is unavailable.

04
What does 2FA recovery mean?

2FA recovery is the process of regaining account access after losing your authenticator device. It requires identity verification through your registered contact or linked wallet reference.

05
What is an authenticator app?

An authenticator app — such as Google Authenticator or Authy — runs on your phone and generates the time-limited codes needed to complete two factor login without an internet connection.

06
What is a session alert?

A session alert is a notification sent to your registered contact when a login passes two factor verification. It lets you spot any access you did not initiate and act immediately.

Common Questions About Two Factor Setup

Got questions before you activate two factor on your account? These are the ones we hear most, answered straight.

Go to Account Settings, open the Security tab, and select Enable Two Factor. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy, enter the six-digit code to confirm, and setup is complete.

Yes. During setup you can choose SMS delivery instead of an app. A code will be sent to your registered mobile number each time you log in. Authenticator app delivery is generally faster.

Use one of your backup codes to log in. Then go to Security Settings and re-pair two factor with your new device. If backup codes are also lost, contact support with your account ID and wallet reference.

Your wallet withdrawals go through their own verification inside the payment app. Two factor covers your totoakura login session; it does not add extra steps inside DANA, OVO, or GoPay themselves.

Two factor can be turned off from the Security tab in Account Settings. We recommend keeping it active, especially if your account is linked to a payment wallet. Disabling it removes the second login layer entirely.

Two factor is account-level and works wherever you access totoakura, including Bekasi and Tangerang, provided access is available in your region under local law and eligible area conditions.
